I plan on going to all of these at some point. So far Mischa and I have been to The French Laundry and it was pretty amazing. I personally think Alinea should also be on the list, but 2 US restaurants out of 10 isn't bad.

I agree about Alinea, I went there once, several years ago, and I still think/talk about it regularly.

I'm kind of shocked that Alinea is not on the list. Such an amazing experience. Especially when chef Grant made "Ice Cream" on our table.

I am in total agreement about Alinea! My husband and I ate there two weeks ago and it was almost an out of body experience. The hot potato cold potato was the best thing I have ever eaten and my only regret is that is was a little too fleeting.

We just got back from a Napa trip but didn't make to the French Laundry. I LOOOOVE French food, and I've heard theirs is the best around, so I can't wait to try it.
