    • It's a beautiful and cosy ship, serving mainly pancakes. It's located quite nice, just outside of the center of Groningen. No busy traffic around, a nice view through the windows, interesting interior and best of all: delicious pancakes!

    • This place is home to the best burgers I have ever eaten. Ever. They're all about fresh, rich ingredients that come together to create the Japanese concept of Umami...the fifth taste. They make fantastic creations like the truffle burger, which has a truffle glaze on a burger topped with truffle cheese (so good!) or the hatch burger, a burger with 4 different kinds of green chili that somehow manages to find that perfect amount of spice that accents the meat and doesn't overpower it. And don't forget to try to malt liquor tempura onion rings, they're amazing!

    • Awesome neighborhood brunch place in the Lincoln Square/Ravenswood area of Chicago. Available are pretty standard breakfast offerings, but with a very creative Mexican twist. The atmosphere has some cool music playing in the background which makes it a nice place to hang out as well.

    • If you are looking for the classic Chicago-style hot dog, don't go to Hot Doug's. Well, you can, but it would be a shame to visit this "Encased-Meat Emporium" without trying something a bit more adventurous. Hot Doug's owner, none other than Doug himself, creates off-the-wall yet sophisticated and playful bunned sausage combinations-have you ever had seaweed-sesame salad on your sausage before?

    • "Die Burgermacher" (Literally: Burgermakers) do exactly that: They make Hamburgers from organic ingredients.
      Everything they could make themselves is homemade, the ketchup, french-fries, etc; And what isn't is ordered from organic smallholders.
      Their menu consists of great burgers for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike, some being old-fashioned recipes others more experimental ones.
      Space is limited to 20 seats though, so you would need to have a seat reserved. However everything is take-away as well if you're out on the town.
